Destination L’étang des Persats

L’étang des Persats can only be rente in its entirety exclusively to come with your friends or family. Its surface of 5 hectares, will allow you to exploit thewhole lake alone or with a maximum of 6 anglers.

A stone-built house overlooks the lake and offers a large capacity of guests. The main room has a bay window with a beautiful view of the lake. The house has two large bedrooms, one on the ground floor equipped with two single beds and the other upstairs with 4 single beds. A fireplace is also at your disposal which will allow you to spend pleasant moments at the water’s edge even during the coldest seasons. During the summer, you can use a superb stone barbecue attached to the house.

You will have the freedom to choose the spots that suit you best on the banks. Two boats are at your disposal (included in the offer). If you wish, you can install your own electric motor. We also provide you with 3 weighing bags, 3 reception mats and disinfectants.

At the dike of the lake the water is 3.5 m deep, the average depth is 2m. The bottom consists of sand, gravel and mud. We advise you to bring equipment to probe to detect the most productive substrates.

 

A total of 150 carp between 8 and 31.1 kg were introduced for an average weight of about 12.5 kg (including 5 grass carp and 1 12.8kg koi carp). If you like big commons, beautifull scaling and linear carps? Then there is no doubt, this is the place for you!

Lovers of lure fishing will be happy, many black-bass populate the pond, you can fish predator fish at no extra cost. Attention, No-Kill is obligatory, in case of non-compliance, you will be immediately expelled from the site WITHOUT compensation.

All fish are chipped to avoid theft and accurately track their growth. During the closed season, pellets are distributed several times a week in order to keep our fish healthy and to increase the average weight.

You must submit your order at least 2 weeks before your arrival to make sure that the products are available.

For the safety of our fish the use of your own seeds is prohibited, it is however possible to buy on site:

  • Pot of 3 litres of Tigernuts, hempseed or particlemix: 12 €

The use of fresh boilies is mandatory, you can find products from the CC Moore range on site.

Barbless hooks are mandatory, it is possible to buy on site Gardner hooks: 5 € per pack.

Arriving time: between 11am and 1pm - Departure time: between 9am and 10am

  • After unloading your equipment, you must park your car at the entrance of the property.
  • Only green or camouflaged tents and umbrellas are allowed.
  • Swimming is prohibited.
  • Contact us when you want to bring a dog, we must examine each case separately. Dogs must be on a leash.
  • Ground fires are forbidden, barbecues are allowed.
  • Please insure the noise levels are kept to a minimum.
  • Children are the responsibility of their parents or supervisors.
  • You can use your boat but it is absolutely mandatory to wear a lifejacket.
  • The use of drugs and excessive alcohol is not allowed on site.
  • Tube marker sticks are allowed, however no marker with a line such as an H marker will not be tolerated.
  • The use of bait boats is allowed.
  • Leadcore is forbidden, only Korda leaders “Dark Matter Safe Zone leaders” are allowed.
  • The use of braid for the main line and header is prohibited. Hook links must only be fluorocarbon or coated braid.
  • Leaders are prohibited.
  • Barbless hooks are mandatory.
  • Make sure your rigs allows the release of the lead weight in case of breakage, the safety of our fish being our priority.
  • Carp sacks are prohibited.
  • Tagging or mutilation of fish is strictly prohibited.
  • The owner and manager reserve the right to check your equipment at any time during your stay.
  • Notify us when you have caught a carp weighing more than 25 kg. We will help you to take professional photos.
  • If you do not respect the rules and regulations, you will be immediately expelled from the site WITHOUT compensation.

L’étang des Persats, is only availablefor one-week stays from Saturday to Saturday. The exclusive rental of the lake for up to 6 anglers, including a house with 6 sleeping arrangements is:

It crowns the hill of the historic center, from which one can see the summit of the Puy de Dôme. Your tour of Clermont-Ferrand is also likely to lead you to La place de Jaude. The centre of the city, where you can see monuments, statues and department stores. Highly recommended for a great shopping trip!

55 km - Ferme de Saint-Nectaire in Orcival

Located 1100 m in altitude in the municipality of Orcival, with a breathtaking view of the chain of Puys, Le Roc farm manufactures Saint Nectaire cheese straight after milking twice a day. The farm is open for free visits every day of the year, guided tours are Friday nights at 17:00 or upon reservation for groups. On the farm you will find a small shop where you can buy the Saint Nectaire and many local products from local producers.

20 km - Fades Dam

The 385 hectare lake is a popular place for bathers when the weather gets hot. Three beaches have been installed and are monitored in July and August: Confolant, Pont-du-Bouchet (Miremont) and Chazotte (Saint-Jacques-d'Ambur). There are many children's games on site and picnic areas. Several restaurants with pleasant terraces and views of the lake. Finally, pike, carp, perch and zander for the pleasure of anglers.

5 km - Chancelade water course

This wild and unspoilt site is only a few kilometers from l'étang des Persats. large lake of Puy de Dome. The immensity of this lake inspires calm and reverie. An observatory helps you to discover fauna and flora, including migratory birds. This lake is also a favorite place for pike anglers. Hiking enthusiasts will appreciate the different paths bordering the lake.
