Like La Plaine des Bois, the precise stock of Belle Fosse is difficult to care for precisely given that it is a gravel pit, even if we chip all new fish, the stock fish are not all recorded. According to our estimates and our stockings, we estimate the stock at around 160 fish from 8 to 29 kg with an average weight of 13 kg.
The Belle Fosse stock is made up of carp from 8 to 29 kg with an average weight of 12 kg, there are no black catfish but only albino ones. We also have some very large white loves and some fully carp. In the summer, we have active catfish.
During closure periods, pellets and boilies are distributed several times a week in order to keep our fish healthy and increase the average weight.
